Wacky Chocolate Cake


Simply a delicious chocolate cake. No eggs or milk needed and the cake is still moist and fluffy.

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (I prefer a darker and richer chocolate cake.  To make the cake lighter use 3-5 tbsp of cocoa)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 3/4 cups oil
  • 2 cups water


Simply mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl until smooth. Pour into a 9×13 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes, or until the cake has a gentle spring when touched. Top with your favorite icing!
